LFW Highlights

London Fashion Week has been and always will be the most exciting Fashion event to hit London. Every year the most expensive and well known Models grace our catwalks wearing the worlds best designs from the biggest names in the business!
This year LFW exploded with colourful creativity and as always uniqueness.
Here i'll be covering my 3 favourite catwalks and where you'll find similar versions/inspirations to purchase these looks at home.

Armani- Patterns and Pastels

Credit- Pintrest

It's safe to say Armani had some colourful moments, showcasing beautiful pastel colours and baggy suits. This can be seen as quite risky but of course Armani pulls it off!
I loved the thin striped features flowing through the materials, adding that glimpse of shape and colour whilst wearing a thin and heavy layer.
A rainbow can be added to any colour especially down the sides of a tracksuit or dress but here Armani shows many lines in many ways and it just works.

Some outfits like the picture below; flaunt many patterns, colours you name it! Yet Armani managed to stay in their pastel theme, no dark colours here just light colours for all.
This particular pattern reminded me of a beach bag or your Dads workout pants back in the 80s! Now you should know that Catwalks are made to showcase your most insane and expressive styles and i'll be the first one to tell you that fashion always comes back around so who better to reintroduce this fun and exciting look than Armani itself.
I'm ready for these beautiful Spring/Summer tones to hit our stores plus the many thin and flowy layers that Armani added to this collection. This shows me how well we can add and accessorise in the summer minus being baking hot by using these thin and colourful materials with pastel tones.

Heres an example of Missguided catching on with the pastel Spring and Summer trend.

Tommy Hilfigers- Rock Circus!

 Credit- Pintrest

As we reach the opposite end of the spectrum Tommy Hilfiger showcases its Rock Circus, the title says it all.
Sticking with its theme of colours with TH's famous logo known worldwide, I loved the american, rock and doll feel. You see allot of beanie hats, tiny backpacks, chunky jewellery and thigh high tights. Of course Gigi and Bella make their appearance with their edgy vibe adding heavy eye make up and a fierce strut.
My favourite look was Bella's all seeing eye hoody the look was finished off perfectly with sexy messy hair and thigh high tights. You can see throughout this Circus that TH wanted to put on a big show, each model had the tense job of circling the floor and showcasing their looks walking down a long set of stairs, I loved the chaos of this catwalk much like a Circus itself.

I can't help but feel that the colours shown give off an American girl next door vibe... I loved this baggy Tommy Jumper Dress with its sequinned finish and the striped beanie.
The Circus show is great inspiration for those wanting to keep their edgy street style look throughout Spring/Summer.

A similar version of the look above can be seen here at Missguided.

Burberry- The coat of many colours

 Credit- Pintrest

I had to leave the best till last because WOW Burberry slayed the day away with this incredibly bold catwalk, changing the way we look at Burberry forever. How have I not thought of this before! I was stunned to see nothing but rainbow shining through the iconic pattern that is Burberry.
I loved everything about this Catwalk and all that it stands for.
The heavy gold jewellery and the swinging spot lights were doing the most but nothing was taking my focus off of that beautiful coat of colours. Burberry showed Spring and Summer how to shine and  again we saw allot of thin yet cosy looking fabrics.

Quick to jump to the mark, Missguided shows us how they like to do it and I'm sure we're going to see much more of this print in the near future. Pretty Little Thing and Boohoo have already dropped their summer festival lines as yes it is that time of the year again- Coachella is on the horizon!

Living up to the hype as per usual, no one other than Cara Delevingne struts out perfectly with this statement outfit. Walking with her hands in her pockets and swaying them side to side confirmed the Burberry pattern inside this beautiful coat. This coat is spectacular but more so a statement, symbolising a sad farewell to Burberry's chief creative and CEO Christopher Bailey and what a way to end the show. The earrings, the pixy cut and the plain white dress are what you need for your blank canvas when you are covering it in this beautiful coat of many colours.
One day I pray to add a copy of this coat to my own wardrobe with my many faux furs but for now we only have this picture and the memory it leaves behind.
Heres to Spring/Summer go out and shine!

Free From Snacks that you shouldn't live without

Happy Hump Day everybody!
The weekend is nearly here and your working week is coming to a close end. Speaking of work, what do us Free From fans have for lunch? I've always been curious as to how you do it considering we have to take out a loan each day when buying such products. I hope one day soon this 'Unique' range will become our norm for some and maybe help lower the price.
Isn't it ironic that our Free From food is missing lots of main ingredients yet the price goes up!
Heres my favourite Free From snacks that I'm loving right now, great for people on the go and those who have the occasional (everyday) chocolate craving like myself.
Just to remind you I am Dairy and Gluten free NOT by choice before you judge. All the products listed below are from Tesco- My favourite Free From store.

Heres your future lunch snacks-

Jordan's Country Crisp Oats
I was shocked to see this down the normal cereal isle considering the whole thing is Gluten and Dairy free. Yes the chocolate is free of Cow! I have been looking for a normal breakfast for years, I can eat coco pops but who wants that much sugar in the morning? This doesn't only taste great it fills you up for the whole morning plus the chocolate tastes great!
The highlighted ingredients are- SOYA, BARLEY and OATS, which personally are fine for me. Allergy Advice states that it MAY contain Gluten, Nuts and Milk but when eating this for Breakfast for a week, my stomach felt no pain or discomfort, no sickness etc... I know the suppliers have to put down these warnings for back up but this meal definitely agrees with me, baring in mind I have one of the most sensitive stomaches in the world :)

Tesco Choc 'N' Crispie Bar
I've loved these for years now, they're a nice naughty snack to have when those cravings kick in. The chocolate tastes beautiful and melts in your mouth plus this crispy version is nice and crunchy. Perfect for the on the go you.

Snack a Jacks
I personally did not know that I could eat Snack a Jacks! Made from Corn I was delighted to hear that I could add these to my lunch menu. Most of the crisps I used to love contain Dairy so to have the option of something as tasty as this has made my lunch times much easier.
Plus they're great for those watching the pounds and they still taste beautiful. If you like your Salt and Vinegar like I do this range is full of flavour!

Tesco Free From Mango Yogurt
A great Soya alternative as the label states plus they taste great! Most people I know would claim that my food tastes 'disgusting' without even trying it, just because it lacks Dairy and Gluten isn't that sad?
This range of Yogurts that come in a variety of flavours, taste exactly how I would expect a Yogurt to taste. So I'm very pleased to say that these too can make a great snack at work or something to have after your main meal.

I saved the best till last...

Tesco Free From Chocolate Cupcakes
Yay! These beautiful cupcakes are pretty pricey but oh so worthit for a now and then treat. You get two in a pack, one for you and another one for you again! If you've seen these yourself at Tesco you would notice that the packaging doesn't say Dairy Free but I promise you it is, the only reason they haven't listed it as Dairy free is because of the Egg... I know I was confused too. The icing is divine and the cake itself is so soft and puffy, I cannot get enough.
I even added two pictures for your Food loving needs!

Enjoy and please be rest assured that none of these listed products have played up my Colitis, hurt my stomach or in any way caused a reaction but that is me personally. ALWAYS read the labels correctly when shopping and look out for the ingredients in BOLD.

All my love...

2018 Fashion must haves and 2017 Trends that we can say Goodbye too!

The New Year is now upon us and Fashion is at its best!
Autumn/Winter have always been my favourite seasons mainly because of Christmas and mainly because of Fashion. The options are endless with layers upon layers and now we will see shops and online retailers filling their new in pages with must have pieces.
For 2017 there was a number of trends that I feel could happily be left in 2017, happy new year and goodbye to these fashion fa pars!

Heres some of my top Fashion Trends of 2017 that we should be waving goodbye too for the New Year:
Goodbye 2017!

Sliders

We all loved a good 'Slider' for a while due to the comfort, colour ranges and of course Rihanna was wearing them! At first Sliders were known as pool shoes or indoor slip ons but now a whole new world of Sliders have been created for your comforting needs. I do myself have a fluffy pink pair but I only wear these at home or when getting petrol. Never do I wear them shopping, at the gym and worst of all- WORKING. Yes these are some of the places where I myself have spotted Sliders flip flopping around. I'm not saying we need to say goodbye to them altogether but lets not wear our PJs outside if you know what I mean, lets save these bad boys for holidays or lounging at home.
2017 thank you and goodbye ;)

Lace Bodysuits

As sexy as they are Lace Bodysuits are definitely a no no for 2018! I have never understood why certain online retailers (based in the UK) are selling these bodysuits on their New In pages. The season is Autumn/Winter style... please tell me when you will be wearing this outfit over Christmas and January. Even on holiday any woman will tell you, when you spot a lady wearing this outfit you can't help but feel uncomfortable for her due to the lace pressed to her body.
Personally I feel these suits are only necessary for a Insta pic; not an all day travelling outfit.
As you can see some people throw on a thick knit when styling this look... the question is are you hot or are you cold?

Off The Shoulder Knitwear

I can’t stress this enough with the hot and cold. I love a good jumper, but I’ll never feel the warming benefits of one when my shoulders are having wind, rain, and thunder thrown at them!
Dramatic I know but I don’t understand why someone would ruin such a fulfilling fabric, please say goodbye to your jumpers in 2017 that no longer fulfill your winter and flu season needs. If you wanted to find this look on a catwalk well, you can’t! I honestly feel if the fashion world has given up on the freezing cold shoulders than so should you!

Flared Denim

Last one I promise- Flared Denim.
When I think of Flared denim jeans I can only imagine the Bee Gees walking down the abandoned street, strolling past an old train and empty houses in their flared trousers, preaching about staying alive!
Released in the late 70s I do feel the flared denim should stay there.
No matter how much you think about it, Denim will always be here with us. It's the only fabric and statement piece that we can always count on and that will never 'go out of fashion'. I love that fashion comes full circle, now a Woman can dress like Audrey Hepburn did and it would be the best look in town but flared will never be in for me.
Even though we still see it on our screens on retail stores and in the denim section of Topshop doesn't mean it should come back to our catwalks.

Now i'm sorry to start this New Year on a negative note but now we can keep our heads up, our eyes open and look out for these new statement fashion piece's that I feel will be big this upcoming season and throughout this magnificent year to come-
Hello 2018!

Motor cross Clothing

Rappers are wearing it, Cardi B is wearing it, Nicki Minaj is wearing it, it's everywhere!
This beautiful new range first came to my attention when listening to the Migos track named- Motorsport. I didn't realise in the midst of my online shopping that this look is actually everywhere! Pretty Little Thing (the online retail) are killing it this season with these amazing prints and leather trousers. We know exactly where this look has stemmed from that being the Sport itself, but what a successful idea to put that sexy look into our high street stores.
I personally adore the edgy skater girl look, feeling like you've just jumped out of a car window after killing it on the track. The colours are bright, the prints are bold and the look is big this year and counting.
I'm predicting that soon we will be seeing actual Lewis Hamilton Jumpsuits online and I will be buying one.

Stripes Stripes Stripes

Stripes have always been with us in Fashion but now they are bigger and better. The benefits alone of wearing a striped outfit is one plus but the current blazers, long trousers and dresses I'm with all the way.
Everybody knows that stripes lengthen the body, if they're going down you look taller, if they're sideways you look curvier. The options are endless for this old yet unique pattern and I feel 2018 will be a hit for the stripes.

Velvet Suits

Velvet has always been my favourite material to wear. I've added it to my basket a number of times every Autumn/Winter and Spring season. You can never have too much Velvet, but now we have the Suits!
A Blazer with a heavy fabric such as Velvet can look baggy and shapeless when falling over the shoulders but recently I've been seeing a wonderful new range of Velvet Suits and I am adoring the slight hint of shoulder pad and the shapely trousers.
Seen on most LFW Catwalks around the colder seasons, Velvet will never go out of style when it comes to our Winter wardrobes.
It comes in all shapes and colours, some colours are beautifully vibrant and others (like the picture above) lighter and calmer. I feel we'll be seeing allot more of these stunning suits on the upcoming catwalks and red carpets to come.

Honest Review of Missguided's Barbie Range

If you know me well or even know my Blog, I have always loved Barbie and the fashion that comes with it. Yes I follow Barbie on Insta and yes I like every picture of her daily outfits!
So imagine my excitement when Missguided themselves released a Barbie Range! I really do love all the pieces and would love to share my honest feedback with those who may not have made their purchases yet. I was pleasantly surprised with how affordable the range is and was hoping that the material would be up to scratch.
Is it as good as it sounds? let me tell you.

The Barbie Jumper

This piece is one of the latest drops on the Missguided website, they released a bunch of new stuff to keep the range going which I'm so happy about since my wardrobe exists of only Barbie now.

The jumper does look as good as it does online but the ONLY thing that bugs me is the colour. This to me isn't Pink, especially Barbie Pink! In one of the pics I edited the colour to darken the photo because I didn't like how pale this colour is, especially for a pale person like myself.
As you can see close up, the bandana print is shiny and would probably peel off after a few hot washes so you would need to put this in the wash inside out. The Barbie logo is stitched on and the material inside is very comfortable but thin. Jumpers should never be thin in my eyes so with this I will accompany it with a white vest etc.
I do love the fit and the style so you will be seeing this in future posts but I will be careful when washing it.

The Sassy T!

I love everything about these t-shirts, the cute pictures and the quotes are everything I imagined this range would be. I bought this top months after my first few purchases because I was very surprised  at how comfortable these tops are. At first I bought one because I imagined that the front picture would be a stick on print and again would probably melt off or fade after time but I was very happy to see that the picture is the same material as the top and its GORGEOUS material, plus very easy to iron.

As will see in the pictures below I am being completely honest here, the downside to this range is how quickly everything creases. They're the type of tops that are best left on a hanger in your wardrobe instead of neatly folded in a drawer because trust me; they will crease!
On the plus side its a very thick material which will probably keep me warmer than the jumper will haha!

The Uncomfortable Tag..

Oh my the TAG! The most uncomfortable thing to have been put on the clothing. We all know this range is quite a unique one so keeping the tag on the T is pretty important, but why so big! why so scratchy!
You would want to rip the whole thing off after a few wears, the edges are thick and sharp and can nibble away at your neck for a good few hours till you get used to the pain lol
That description could be pretty dramatic but you will always know the tag is there... This is the only main thing I say they should improve on, make the tags smaller, smoother and just normal like any  other tag.

The Barbie Bodysuit

The Bodysuit is one of newest pieces to drop, I contemplated on buying it for a while because white usually isn't my thing, mainly because the smallest marks will obviously show so I would usually steer away, but then I imagined how I would style this piece. I have a beautiful PLT Pink blazer and suit trousers which I have been pictured in before on a previous post and I've always struggled with tops/shirts to go with it.
I thought this Bodysuit would add the right touch of colour plus a little surprise on the sleeves which I love.
This is pretty see through so a good white bra would be recommended plus it does crease VERY easily so I would hang this up in my wardrobe alongside my other creased pieces lol.
The first picture you can clearly see is edited to hide the bra a little but the second two are not.
I laid the Bodysuit on my bed to show how it looks off the body and how it compares to the white throw behind it.
I do love the Barbie Print on the sleeves but again they're not as PINK as I'd like but maybe thats just me being Pink crazy!

The Round UP- All in all I am very happy with the quality of these pieces minus the uncomfortable tag and the creasy material BUT every piece is affordable and comfortable in many ways. I would definitely recommend the range to a Barbie fashionista like myself and the designs and styles are all what I imagined it would be. I mostly love that the Barbie logo is always clearly shown and practically thrown in your face on each piece, the brand is very unique and quirky and the suttle Pink barbie colours are thrown in sporadically throughout.
I know in the future I will be making more purchases to this range. I just hope the Tag changes and that Missguided keep dropping these amazing clothes.

My Ultimate Autumn Wardrobe

My favourite Season is back and its here to stay! I love my Autumn walks so I thought this beautiful spot would be the perfect place to shoot one of my favourites shoots so far and show you guys what I will be wearing this season and why!

Enjoy x

Look One.

This beautiful Pink look was inspired by Clueless (the best film ever).
I feel like Berets are certainly back in! Plus the cute checked dress and suede jacket finish this look off perfectly for a warm Autumns day. I love this trench coat look plus the material keeps you warm and cosy.
I styled this outfit with my Pink AX Paris heels.

Look Two.

I switched this look up by adding my new Puffy Coat from LASULA.
I love the colour and the soft material, it's guaranteed to keep you warm  when Suede lets you down lol
I then styled this River Island dress with my Versace inspo belt to pinch me in at the waist (from PLT).

Look Three.

I love this look because what would my outfit be without some Animal print? I adore this skirt from Missguided its never done me wrong, its the perfect fit and it goes with practically anything.
I styled this skirt with my Leopard print PLT bodysuit to add some warm colours, plus the coat, heels and my Pink bobble hat to finish off this look.

Look Four.

This look is more of a everyday look, going to work, feeling comfortable. I love these Dungarees from River Island because you can dress them up or down. The faux leather is comfortable and well made plus an Autumn colour. We all know Yellow (mustard) will always be in when it comes to Autumn, leafy colours they always say!
I styled this with a plain black top and tights, with my red vans, and Black leather Beret from Missguided.

Look Five.

Red and Pink are my two favourite colours and I had been looking for a nice pair of comfy camo trousers that weren't made from a Firemans Outfit! Misspap pulled through with this pair of beautiful camo pants. The material is so soft plus the colour is beautiful and vibrant just how I like it.
I styled this with a short black top with a touch of red, plus the Black Beret and my Kurt Geiger boots. Again I feel these trousers can be dressed up or dressed down, I'll be wearing these in all different ways to many different occasions so keep a look out!

Look Six.

My final look is just your basic, high waisted jeans, knee high boots and a lovely cropped jumper. My whole outfit is a Missguided find minus the boots. My snakeskin boots are an oldie but goodie from River Island.
These boots add a beautiful spark of Autumn to my look and I styled this with the crop jumper to add some comfort to my 'cosy' outfit.

All in all my Autumn Wardrobe will be filled with warm and light tones with plenty of cute hats and thick tights to keep my legs warm whilst kicking about in the Leaves. I hope you enjoyed my looks for the season and hopefully I gave you some inspiration for your own Autumn Wardrobe!
