Honest Review of Missguided's Barbie Range

If you know me well or even know my Blog, I have always loved Barbie and the fashion that comes with it. Yes I follow Barbie on Insta and yes I like every picture of her daily outfits!
So imagine my excitement when Missguided themselves released a Barbie Range! I really do love all the pieces and would love to share my honest feedback with those who may not have made their purchases yet. I was pleasantly surprised with how affordable the range is and was hoping that the material would be up to scratch.
Is it as good as it sounds? let me tell you.

The Barbie Jumper

This piece is one of the latest drops on the Missguided website, they released a bunch of new stuff to keep the range going which I'm so happy about since my wardrobe exists of only Barbie now.

The jumper does look as good as it does online but the ONLY thing that bugs me is the colour. This to me isn't Pink, especially Barbie Pink! In one of the pics I edited the colour to darken the photo because I didn't like how pale this colour is, especially for a pale person like myself.
As you can see close up, the bandana print is shiny and would probably peel off after a few hot washes so you would need to put this in the wash inside out. The Barbie logo is stitched on and the material inside is very comfortable but thin. Jumpers should never be thin in my eyes so with this I will accompany it with a white vest etc.
I do love the fit and the style so you will be seeing this in future posts but I will be careful when washing it.

The Sassy T!

I love everything about these t-shirts, the cute pictures and the quotes are everything I imagined this range would be. I bought this top months after my first few purchases because I was very surprised  at how comfortable these tops are. At first I bought one because I imagined that the front picture would be a stick on print and again would probably melt off or fade after time but I was very happy to see that the picture is the same material as the top and its GORGEOUS material, plus very easy to iron.

As will see in the pictures below I am being completely honest here, the downside to this range is how quickly everything creases. They're the type of tops that are best left on a hanger in your wardrobe instead of neatly folded in a drawer because trust me; they will crease!
On the plus side its a very thick material which will probably keep me warmer than the jumper will haha!

The Uncomfortable Tag..

Oh my the TAG! The most uncomfortable thing to have been put on the clothing. We all know this range is quite a unique one so keeping the tag on the T is pretty important, but why so big! why so scratchy!
You would want to rip the whole thing off after a few wears, the edges are thick and sharp and can nibble away at your neck for a good few hours till you get used to the pain lol
That description could be pretty dramatic but you will always know the tag is there... This is the only main thing I say they should improve on, make the tags smaller, smoother and just normal like any  other tag.

The Barbie Bodysuit

The Bodysuit is one of newest pieces to drop, I contemplated on buying it for a while because white usually isn't my thing, mainly because the smallest marks will obviously show so I would usually steer away, but then I imagined how I would style this piece. I have a beautiful PLT Pink blazer and suit trousers which I have been pictured in before on a previous post and I've always struggled with tops/shirts to go with it.
I thought this Bodysuit would add the right touch of colour plus a little surprise on the sleeves which I love.
This is pretty see through so a good white bra would be recommended plus it does crease VERY easily so I would hang this up in my wardrobe alongside my other creased pieces lol.
The first picture you can clearly see is edited to hide the bra a little but the second two are not.
I laid the Bodysuit on my bed to show how it looks off the body and how it compares to the white throw behind it.
I do love the Barbie Print on the sleeves but again they're not as PINK as I'd like but maybe thats just me being Pink crazy!

The Round UP- All in all I am very happy with the quality of these pieces minus the uncomfortable tag and the creasy material BUT every piece is affordable and comfortable in many ways. I would definitely recommend the range to a Barbie fashionista like myself and the designs and styles are all what I imagined it would be. I mostly love that the Barbie logo is always clearly shown and practically thrown in your face on each piece, the brand is very unique and quirky and the suttle Pink barbie colours are thrown in sporadically throughout.
I know in the future I will be making more purchases to this range. I just hope the Tag changes and that Missguided keep dropping these amazing clothes.

My Ultimate Autumn Wardrobe

My favourite Season is back and its here to stay! I love my Autumn walks so I thought this beautiful spot would be the perfect place to shoot one of my favourites shoots so far and show you guys what I will be wearing this season and why!

Enjoy x

Look One.

This beautiful Pink look was inspired by Clueless (the best film ever).
I feel like Berets are certainly back in! Plus the cute checked dress and suede jacket finish this look off perfectly for a warm Autumns day. I love this trench coat look plus the material keeps you warm and cosy.
I styled this outfit with my Pink AX Paris heels.

Look Two.

I switched this look up by adding my new Puffy Coat from LASULA.
I love the colour and the soft material, it's guaranteed to keep you warm  when Suede lets you down lol
I then styled this River Island dress with my Versace inspo belt to pinch me in at the waist (from PLT).

Look Three.

I love this look because what would my outfit be without some Animal print? I adore this skirt from Missguided its never done me wrong, its the perfect fit and it goes with practically anything.
I styled this skirt with my Leopard print PLT bodysuit to add some warm colours, plus the coat, heels and my Pink bobble hat to finish off this look.

Look Four.

This look is more of a everyday look, going to work, feeling comfortable. I love these Dungarees from River Island because you can dress them up or down. The faux leather is comfortable and well made plus an Autumn colour. We all know Yellow (mustard) will always be in when it comes to Autumn, leafy colours they always say!
I styled this with a plain black top and tights, with my red vans, and Black leather Beret from Missguided.

Look Five.

Red and Pink are my two favourite colours and I had been looking for a nice pair of comfy camo trousers that weren't made from a Firemans Outfit! Misspap pulled through with this pair of beautiful camo pants. The material is so soft plus the colour is beautiful and vibrant just how I like it.
I styled this with a short black top with a touch of red, plus the Black Beret and my Kurt Geiger boots. Again I feel these trousers can be dressed up or dressed down, I'll be wearing these in all different ways to many different occasions so keep a look out!

Look Six.

My final look is just your basic, high waisted jeans, knee high boots and a lovely cropped jumper. My whole outfit is a Missguided find minus the boots. My snakeskin boots are an oldie but goodie from River Island.
These boots add a beautiful spark of Autumn to my look and I styled this with the crop jumper to add some comfort to my 'cosy' outfit.

All in all my Autumn Wardrobe will be filled with warm and light tones with plenty of cute hats and thick tights to keep my legs warm whilst kicking about in the Leaves. I hope you enjoyed my looks for the season and hopefully I gave you some inspiration for your own Autumn Wardrobe!

Honest Review of Neals Yard Remedies

I like to think i've always had clear skin, I hardly ever wear face make up but if I do its because I look like Casper and I don't want people to ask if i'm ill haha.
I've stuck to the Benefit Hoola Powder when I do look very pale but none of that foundation madness I need my skin to breathe!
I like most Women only receive a spot to my face at Period time or if i've gone through a solid week of poor diet... the norm for most Women I'm sure.

If you've been a follower from the very start you'll know that I have allergies to practically everything but Decleor and Neals Yard are the only products I use that my skin doesn't react too.
Heres my very honest review of my recent purchase of Neals Yard Products, some products were replacements from ones I've used before and the others are new to me.
Enjoy x

  • Bee Lovely Body Lotion- This is my second bottle of this because I love the texture and smell of the lotion. When I first tried it the lotion felt lumpy but smooth at the same time, at first I thought it had gone off! But I was surprised to feel the exfoliating lotion nourishing my skin after a hot bath or shower, it smells delicious plus it lasts a long time. After a while the pump couldn't scoop up enough goodness so instead I just unscrewed the lid, pulled out the straw and scooped up the remains of the cream. Needless to say this worked for my last 5/6 showers. For those with dry skin like me this is perfect for you, if your skin is oily I'd say use one pump at a time and see if you need to add more.

  • Refreshing Body Wash- This was a new one for me, I hadn't used it before but since their body moisterisers were so wonderful I wanted to try the Body Wash! I used a small amount on my loafer, sprinkled on some water and it lathered up nicely creating a wonderful smell. The liquid is very thin but bubbly and as I expected it left a nice lasting fragrance on my skin even after my shower. I would say that some of the scents may not be everybody's favourite but I like the smell of Lemons and Limes so it worked very well for me and no rashes!

  • Frankincense Hydrating Cream-  If you don't know; Frankincense is a essential oil commonly used in aromatherapy, it has a variety of health benefits and is amazing for the skin. This is my Mums 3rd tub, she loves this moisturiser because it really is for all skin types. She explained it as smooth, thin, good for oily and dry skin and leaves your skin feeling soft and supple throughout the day. When testing it I was impressed on how moisturised my skin felt from Morning till Night plus I loved the thin texture. I would say it's like a Day Cream but the long lasting moisture will work great in the night as well. If you've had a long day at work with your full face of make up on etc, I would most definitely apply this after cleansing and toning as it releases a calming oil to the skin to help nourish and revive while your body recharges.

  • Honey and Orange Facial Scrub- This is my second tub. I use this once a week to help dig into my pours and exfoliate my skin thoroughly it leaves your face feeling as smooth as a baby's bottom and the smell is a beautiful fresh orange scent. It does say to apply this to a damp face but I like to make sure my face is soaked haha! Sometimes these scrubs can feel like somebody is ice skating over your face but with plenty of water on hands and face you can easily lather this over you and then massage it in. After a couple of minutes gently remove the scrub with a warm flannel and then add some toner, you'll feel wonderful after. Remember only once a week!

  • White Tea Enriching Facial Mask- I bought this product because I tried a sample in store and loved the thickness of the mask, it looks like clay but is very fluid like water. I personally feel this is perfect for all skin types, you can leave this on for 10-15 minutes then gently wash it off with a warm flannel. You will then be left feeling moisturised and nourished; the smell isn't as nice as the other products but you can smell a fresh tea scent. I've been using this twice a week and feel its best in the morning as its nice and refreshing.

Finally! I got a lovely array of samples to try. I'm sure my next review will be filled with most of these sample products!
I would most definitely recommend the Neals Yard Remedies, especially for those who have sensitive skin or are prone to allergies like myself. Their gentle and organic products leave your skin feeling refreshed and nourished, comment below on what your favourite products are.
I hope this helped with your future purchases!

Florence to Rome= Travel Diary!

I'm back from the beautiful country of Italy! I've spent 3 nights in  Florence for a Wedding and 3 nights in Rome!
Heres my travel diary plus plenty of pictures and reviews on my outfits.
Enjoy!

As soon as we arrived to the beautiful City of Florence we got to our room and threw on our outfits for the evenings events. We met all the Wedding guests and of course the Bride and Groom to be and had a lovely evening catching up with friends outside enjoying the beautiful weather. I still can't get used to the heat that hits you whenever you step off a plane into a hot country, I was met with lots of nat bites and watery eyeliner but it was worthit.
Plus I got dressed from my airport attire in 15 minutes! That has to be a world record for Girls...

I had a vision of me in a Pink dress on the first night and then a beautiful Red dress for the wedding, not poppy red but RED! I spent over £500 on different dresses for these two events and luckily I found the two that I felt happy with.
I styled this beauty with light Pink heels and my mermaid clutch bag.
This dress is very comfortable and flattering, I didn't need to wear a bra which was nice plus I bought this in a size 8 which after feeling the material I was regretting as it feels thick and tough but it surprisingly has allot of stretch but is tight at the same time.

The Wedding.

The day arrived to attend one of the most spectacular Weddings that I have ever been too. At first I was too hot and bothered to wear my tight red dress and was going to use my back up PLT one. Luckily I stuck to my main dress and it paid off! I felt very glamorous and suited for the incredible venue plus I was actually surprisingly  comfortable.
Again ASOS always comes through. I've lost count on how many times I pulled up ASOS and searched- Red Dresses...
Finally I found this beautiful dress from Lipsy (available on ASOS) I was going for the spanish emoji look and I think i'm quite close to it ;)
Heels are from Missguided old collection.

After a incredible night dancing away and celebrating such a special occasion my Partner and I attended yet another cocktail event to say our goodbyes to the wonderful families of the Bride and Groom plus all of my Partners friends.
I am posting my outfit picture (scroll down) but since it ripped throughout the day not from wear and tear as it was brand new but from the thin material which PLT seemed to be happy with I won't be reviewing this in too much detail. Who needs this in their life? especially while on Holiday. I do love PLT and will be tweeting their customer service team about this but I just have to let my followers know that it certainly isn't a dress I will be replacing even though I love the dress itself it is very poorly made. I would hate for this to happen  to any of you guys so please keep this in mind when purchasing.

^^^^ :(

After a quick change and a nap we met up with my Partners closest friends for a meal at the Hard Rock- Florence.
I love the whole Hard Rock brand, my family and I love visiting the Hard Rock often for their incredible food, music and vibe! If you haven't been to one before, where have you been?
Later on in the evening we walked through Florence town, we saw the beautiful Cathedral and the incredible statues which are pretty much everywhere. We walked for 30 minutes through the Town and back to our Hotel to get ready for our long drive to Rome the next morning :D

Just a glimpse of Florence town and this graffiti that will soon be taken down.
History is incredible, we definitely felt like typical tourists throughout this trip.

Rome.

We arrived in Rome after a wonderful 3 hour drive, my Partner drove in a rental car on their right side of the road but our wrong side lol and it couldn't of gone smoother. Thats until we actually arrived! Have you ever booked a hotel online and turned up realising its an absolute state?
Well thats what happened to us, we booked with booking.com and planned to stay at the wonderfully reviewed Radisson Blu Hotel; even friends were saying how lovely it will be to stay there, I guess this is true but we wouldn't know as we didn't bother going inside. Nobody explained how bad the area would be, we both guessed as we pulled up that the Sat nav had sent us to the wrong hotel but it turns out we were wrong!

After a quick turn around we stayed in our car and quickly booked a hotel called The Valdier... it did say that it wasn't near much but we didn't care. At this point we were desperate and all I kept thinking was Rome isn't like the movies.
Thankfully we drove to our new hotel after the quickest booking of our lives and was so happy to see its perfect location and beautiful room! I wanted to hug the reception team after our stressful arrival. This is what Rome should look like! We was 5 minutes from the Spanish steps, amazing shops and the Trevi fountain. Everywhere we went was on foot and yes we did a years worth of cardio but it really didn't matter. The longest walk was to the Colosseum which was half an hour, not bad if you think about it thanks to Google maps.
Rome has so much beauty in it, you'll be walking through town feeling like you're walking through a museum. Every corner is a picture opp and the music and smells of the wonderful food is what brought it all to life for me.
Throughout our stay we kept comparing and we couldn't praise the hotel Valdier more so thank you so much Hotel Valdier for having us!

First stop- Trevi Fountain :D
I hit the streets with my beautiful Red PLT skirt and an old Tupac crop top from a shop in  America.

A trip to the Vatican, I think this is where the muscle pain came from. 553 steps to reach the top but the view made it all worth while.
Outfit is from Motel but bought from Depop I can't find this on the site sorry. Shoes are my trusty vans oldies but goodies! You can't have a comfy holiday without your Vans.
I had a Red Floral top, with my Blue Floral skirt and my Red Floral Vans, a strange combo but great for visiting the Church as you need your legs and arms covered. Inside I wrapped a red scarf around my shoulders.

Those who know me well know I had an insane fascination with Audrey Hepburn I still envy her elegance and beauty. One of her famous films Roman Holiday was made here and I enjoyed visiting the Spanish steps and small corners of Rome where certain scenes were filmed. I was overly excited to sit on the exact step that she was on in Roman Holiday, I feel like that in itself was a piece of History.
Heres a cute shop we found dedicated to Audrey and her style.

My favourite cocktail- Mojito !!!!

In our room enjoying being a Tourist :)

 Our beautiful Hotel Lobby

After a very successful trip here we are on our last night, legs hurting, feet throbbing and brains aching from all the History we have soaked in throughout our past few days.
My heart is still in Paris I have to say (most beautiful city in the world) but Rome is definitely a place I will hold great memories and love to visit again.
Hope you enjoyed my Travel Diary, till next time...
