Autumn Fashion- Get the look 2019!

It's official Autumn 2019 is here, we made it! As you all should know by now Autumn is my favourite season and I have been bursting with fashion ideas for the upcoming weeks. Autumn style if full of- Knee high boots, chunky knits, leafy colours and plenty of patterns.
In the last couple of weeks I have brainstormed the upcoming trends for Autumn 2019, below I have narrowed down my favourite trends of the season and found where you can get the look from my two favourite online retailers- PrettyLittleThing and Missguided.
There is SO much to choose from when it comes to this beautiful season so enjoy the trends and embrace the colours!

Oversized Blazers
Blazers have always been on trend when it comes to the Autumn/Winter seasons but this year we will be seeing oversized blazers make their mark. The fitted blazer is usually seen on professionals but now we can style an oversized blazer for allot more then just work. Imagine a chunky knit underneath matched with flats/heels and tailored trousers. Either way over sized blazers work on all body types and below I have found a few of my favourites.

Slip Skirts
Slip skirts made their fashion comeback in the first few weeks of summer and it's clear they are here to stay for Autumn as well. Usually it can be styled with crop tops and sandals for those hot summer days but we can also add a thick knit, boots and a  leather jacket into the mix.
I love a slip skirt in the summer as its thin and light but think about all the layers you can add to your outfit to make it a sexy autumn look with a pop of colour!

Ruched Boots
Unsure about this trend as it brought back 70s vibes I have come to notice how ruched style boots make a great statement to most outfits. I can't say they compliment every shape but I am enjoying the styles I have seen on Missguided so far and how they are matched with thick denim jeans or silk skirts (see above). In Autumn you see allot of knee high boots and a ruched detail seems to be the refreshment we needed when it comes to Autumn footwear.

Crop Cardigans
I'll always have time for a crop cardigan especially for my favourite season. Cropped cardigans were massive in the late 80s early 90s and we can still style this look today with a cute beret, high waisted trousers or jeans with a chunky belt. Look out for many varieties of cardigans this season that are thick knit and bold in colour.

Denim Dresses
I've seen denim dresses online for a while but Summer seemed to be too hot for a thick denim material being pressed onto the skin. Now is the perfect time to throw on a cute denim dress paired with tights and boots!
Denim is amazing because it's so versatile and comes in many varieties . This is perfect for all shapes and sizes and allows you to experiment with different pops of colour to add to the outfit.

Double Breasted Coats
Last year we saw a lot of parka jackets and puffy coats but this year the double breasted coat is here to stay and I'm loving the variety of colours and materials we are seeing so far. As you can see in the pictures below, a coat like this can be dressed up and dressed down. This coat will always be classy and elegant and thrives in the Autumn and Winter seasons.

Cherub/Renaissance print
This print is personally one of my favourites as I've always loved the renaissance art and Paris/Rome vibes this style gives me. I found a range of varieties but cut it down to my top 6 styles for Autumn. This season we will see allot of leafy colours and renaissance art is filled with browns, gold, dark yellow and blue tones. Enjoy experimenting with this print and making a bold statement this season.
