Happy Easter !

HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY!

I hope everyone had a relaxing yet exciting weekend, making the most of your long weekend off work (for most). You've got to love an English Bank Holiday, It feels like the streets are a happier place.
This reminds me of the feeling you used to get when school would finish for the Holidays and you'll share that smug glance with friends. I love going out into London and sharing the Pubs with people that are also making the most of our beautiful Bank Holidays, celebrating together.

My weekend consisted of late evenings and even later lie ins. I'm a typical Cancerian so I love the rain when I can snuggle up at home with the ones I love or the ONE I love and enjoy our time off together without a care in the world.
I've had Pancakes two days in a row, Two Waitrose Free From Easter eggs (yummy)plus two Pizzas as I gave them up for lent ; )

Here are my Easter Essentials-

Glasses- £3 each from Waitrose. I love the Vintage look of these glasses and the colour, bargain!
The middle Glass reminds me of a Cocktail glass, they wash well and the bubbly effect makes them stand out from the rest.

Umbrella was a Christmas Present, something I keep in my car, especially over the Easter Weekend.

Cute Plant my Mum bought lol and my two Unicorns TY. The White one is called Pegasus and the Pink one is called Magic.
The head band on Pegasus is from Topshop, I wore this all day Easter Sunday haha

This is what I got up to on Easter Sunday, modelling my Pretty Little Thing Jacket and my new Tupac Topshop T x

This Jacket is so stylish and chic, it's a Crystal kind of Jacket! I love styling this with either bright and vibrant colours or plain colours to help make the jacket the main focus. Its comfortable to wear and very well made.

I have about 15 Tupac t-shirts (big fan), but this one has to be my favourite. It's very comfortable, the material is smooth and light and I love the worn dip dye effect on the T.

After the shoot, me and my man went to Pizza Hut to of course have some more Pizza.
I haven't been to Pizza Hut since I changed my diet due to my Intolerances so I was excited to try out their Gluten Free pizza base and Goats cheese topping. It has to be my favourite one by far. The crust was thick and tasty which can be hard to find when it comes to Gluten Free pizzas. The pepperoni was lovely as was the Goats cheese layered under it and just enough tomato.
It's hard to try 'new food' as such, when you come across restaurants that do not cater to particular allergies at all and sometimes if they do; you'd rather the all wheat and dairy option, but this was filing and taste FULL. It was the perfect way to end my bank holiday weekend.

YUM!

Happy Easter everyone and God Bless x

Gym Junkie Favourites

I have come to the conclusion after many new purchases that Primark is the best place to go to for Gym clothing. Surprise Surprise!

I was shocked at the money people spend on branded Gym wear when you can save money on clothing which is just as stylish and still comfortable and suited for any work out. Don't get me wrong I wear Nike pro (black) Gym trousers and Nike Gym trainers but Primarks tops, jumpers, trousers, towels and even water bottles are all you really need for the Gym.
Personally I much prefer Gym wear that is tight and not baggy like most 'Gym tops'. Sometimes I look like I'm about to jump on my bike and go cycling in the clothing I wear but for what I do in the Gym its perfect. No woman wants to be working out in their Gym which may be like mine which is prodomanantly MEN; and your top rolls up whilst you're working abs.
I also love tight clothing because I can see my muscles and the changes on my body each time I visit. Some Girls may be completely against this but I suggest everyone takes a good look in Primark when it comes to Gym Wear and the essentials.

We all know Primark can be a guilty pleasure but I was genuinely surprised at the amazing quality of the Gym clothing and how long it has lasted me. Here was my outfit today-

This Primark top comes in Grey and Black too which I also have and they have the option of short sleeves. The sleeves also have thumb holes to keep the hands warm and to help prevent your sleeves from riding up. I personally only use these when leaving the Gym if I haven't showered and its cold!
The Zebra print is Dri Fit and I love this colour. If you love fashion like I do you want to look some what suitable plus quirky even in the Gym ; )
(I apologise for the blatant bra! Gym goers must understand that all my Gym bras were in the wash at this time)

I have two Gym Bras- one from Missguided and one from Primark.

Trousers are Nike and so are my Trainers.
Gym Gloves are from Amazon - Golds Gym

This is another Top from Primark which I've had for a year or so now. It's my go to Gym top as I love the fit and how comfortable it is.

This top has Dri Fit on it and from what I remember I think this top was around £8... In size 8.

I even got my Partner into Primark Gym wear as I've been raving about it so much and he's a tough one to crack! As you can see below he's been a Gym Junkie like me for a long time haha

From the Man himself- "These vests are very comfortable, great for sweating and a great fit for all body types."

So there you have it, thats some of my Gym favourites. If you'd like to hear anymore about something similar to this Blog like my Gym routines, Diet plan, my favourite techniques or what I enjoy working on the most please comment below as I'd love to help and maybe inspire your future workouts.

To end this blog I just have to add my worst yet most effective part of my Gym session... stretching!

I bought this from Argos last week in the morning and it arrived in the evening. Very happy with it. If you don't know about Foam Rollers get to know !

I prefer to use a foam roller at home instead of the Gym hence why I bought my own. I am double jointed so for me I like to use this at my own pace in the privacy of my own home so that I can take my time and properly wind down. Its incredibly painful after a gruelling work out but it really does help (when used correctly) to help prevent the aches and pains that come the next day after a Gym sesh and to improve flexibility.
Thank me later!

Again if you'd like to know how I use mine considering I'm double jointed, please comment and it may be my next blog.

From one Gym Junkie to another I suggest you get quality and quantity at the same time.

March Haul

I'm loving pastel colours right now and I feel they suit my skin tone better than dark bold colours even though I love those too. Heres some of my newest purchases in March, getting ready for the summer colours !

Outfit 1:

Depop tracksuit bottoms- These were very cheap. The only negative is that you get what you pay for! You can see my knicker line from the all in one and the elastic seems like it'll stretch and ruin in the wash. But very comfortable and cosy. I'm loving Pink at the moment and these are great and stylish to wear to work.

All in one, Pretty Little Thing.com- https://www.prettylittlething.com/basic-rose-long-sleeve-roll-neck-bodysuit.html Only negative is you can probably see at the front on my chest the material has gone bumpy. But I love this colour especially being an all in one. I bought this in a 10 as I have a long body, but its bigger than I thought so I could of bought an 8. I loved styling this as it goes with practically anything, it's simple yet quirky.

My every day Bag. Skinny Dip- http://www.skinnydiplondon.com/products/lilac-grey-fur-backpack-1?variant=14545359495

Necklace, Saatchi Gallery-   http://saatchistore.saatchigallery.com/jewellery/87-heart-necklace-from-me-zena.html

Outfit no 2-  All in one same as above.

Trousers, Pretty Little Thing.com-https://www.prettylittlething.com/sage-petrol-blue-crepe-cigarette-trouser.html
I love the colour of these trousers, but the downside is that as you can see it's my knicker line again lol. Baring in mind this is mainly because of my all in one. They come in all different colours, extremely comfortable and smart. These would look great with heels too on a night out. I like these colours together too.

My sparkly cup that I use for gym purposes ;) is from New Look.

Outfit 3-

Crop Top and Skirt both Missguided- https://www.missguided.co.uk/knitted-midi-skirt-red

As you know I LOVE Red! I've had the cropped jumper for a while now and I saw the skirt online a few days ago and had to buy it. It's now in the sale for £10.

You can style this with chunky Gold Jewellery or a big knit scarf. I feel Heels or trainers both work too.

Outfit 4-

This outfit is just me! I love the colours and the effect of this skirt!
Skirt is Missguided- https://www.missguided.co.uk/marble-midi-skirt-grey
This is how I would style it on a night out. I felt incredibly comfortable in it and I love the effect.

Bag is Skinny Dip (also featured on my Valentines day blog).

These tights are my most greatest purchase when it comes to tights. These Gun tights are my favourite and I bought them from Missguided years ago and they are so thick they have no holes in them which isn't like me because of my long nails. These also suit my skin tone.

The Heels are old but were from Missguided, very cheap in the sale!

I hope you guys enjoyed my March Haul. Have an amazing weekend!
